A DAY AT CHURCHILL DOWNS
TEACHER APPRECIATION DAY

We've got a special JCRTA outing; it's time to win some money on the ponies and have fun with your teacher friends.
JCRTA has reserved 8 tables on Millionaire's Row at Churchill Downs where you will sit with your friends and fellow retired teachers. Only 32 of 64 seats available; reserve now.
You'll get a complimentary race day program and FREE parking. Our Four JCRTA Tables are in rounds of eight. A FREE Buffet is open between 4-7 p.m. Between races, JCRTA will have raffles for prizes.
Churchill Downs is hosting Teacher Appreciation Day and Twilight Thursday activities including, music, food trucks and $2 beverages on the grounds.
Cost: $50 per person
When: THURSDAY, June 4, 2026.
Where: Churchill Downs, 700 Central Avenue, Louisville. Gates Open at 4:00 p.m. First Race at 5:00 p.m.

Steps to Sit at the JCRTA tables: 1. Call 502-636-4450 Ext. 7008 and ask for Jake (2) Tell him you are with JCRTA (3) Purchase your ticket. The first 32 reservations will be seated at our 4 JCRTA tables.
NOTE: If you have more than 1 person going with you, buy all the seats in one credit card transaction, thus ensuring you will be seated at the same JCRTA table. You can bring a non-JCRTA member at the same cost.
On this trip, you provide your own transportation and make your own reservation directly with Churchill Downs.

Travel to Africa for a tour of the southern part of the continent. You'll visit Botswana, Victoria Falls, Choebe National Park, and see South Africa's Capetown. Also 8 Wildlife Safaris are planned where you'll encounter various wildlife including elephants.
