Purposes of JCRTA
- Improve the welfare of retired teachers of Jefferson County
- Support legislation that continues to improve retirement benefits, e.g., maintain cost-of-living increase, health insurance
- Inform the membership of ongoing local and state issues
- Support the Kentucky Teachers' Retirement System (KTRS) regarding member benefits
